- Chuck thought that the customer wanted his plane to reflect his personal tastes, his ‘touch and feel’, and that it look like the interior of one of his cars.
- He mentions the carbon fibre inlays, the peach wood veneer, which he says was very difficult to use because it reacts to the sunlight.
- He says that they go through some of the materials that the customer might like and then make a photo realistic model of the interior to show the customer. They usually show the customer three different material option sets to help the customer clearly visualise what the interior will look like when it’s finished. Then they’ll go back and make the necessary modifications before finalising the design.
