Flexible classes focused on Aviation English for flight attendants to help you improve your ability to speak and operate in English. Objectives can be agreed with the teacher in advance to help each individual student maximise their time.
Emphasis is placed on speaking and listening, two of the most important skills for flight attendants, training is also provided on improving pronunciation, increasing vocabulary and even writing skills. All of this extra practice helps to improve a flight attendant’s ability to speak and understand in a more precise way for their day to day working life.
This course uses a book when appropriate to help students maintain and improve on their level of English. This course is suited to flight attendants or people who are interested in this career.
An evaluation can be done before the beginning of the course to establish the level and specific needs of each student, ensuring a course specific to each individual.
Teaching Pedagogy
The teaching pedagogy for this course is what is known as CLIL (Content and language integrated learning). There is a dual focus on content and language. Real-life topics which are relevant to the professional environment that pilots work in are used which create interest and motivate the student during communicative activities. The teaching promotes the noticing of language features which emerge from the topics discussed.
